๐ Launching: Ad Manager is now Live for Every Location! ๐
Weโre thrilled to let you know that Ad Manager has successfully completed its trial phase in Labs and is now accessible to all users without requiring an extra activation step in Labs for each location. Once an agency selects the pricing model as the initial step under reselling, Ad Manager will be ready for use across all locations.
๐ Whatโs New?
1. Users now can assign a connected Facebook page as the default one.
- Once set up, this default page becomes the designated page to launch any new ad campaigns.
- If you connect your first page during the onboarding process, this page will automatically be set as your default.
- If you delete a connected page that had been set as the default, the subsequent page will then auto-designated as default.
- You can only have one default page among all the connected Facebook pages.
2. Ad Manager has graduated from labs and is ready to join the main framework. This eliminates an extra step of enabling it in Labs for each sub-account and removes the discoverability obstacle for Ad Manager.
๐ท How it Works:
A. “Set as default” button:
The first Facebook page connected during onboarding becomes the default page for launching new ad campaigns. Click on the gear icon or Ad Manager settings button located at the top right of your Ad Manager home page. Under the Pages tab, each row of the connected Facebook pages list has an ellipsis on the right edge that contains a ‘Set as default’ button. Clicking this button will make that page your default page and any previously selected default pages will no longer remain the first choice to publish an ad campaign. A tooltip appears when you hover over the ‘Default’ tag on the row of the page set as your default page.
B. Ad Manager: Out of Labs
You no longer have to enable Ad Manager in labs to see it under Sub-Account > Marketing. It will automatically be available in all locations once the agency has selected the pricing model.
โญ Why it Matters:
Better Visibility: Now that Ad Manager is out of labs, users can find it directly under marketing without having to enable it in Labs.
Easy Usage: You can define the most frequently used Facebook page for ad campaigns as the default, which then can be used during campaign creation.
๐ Important Notes:
During the campaign creation process, you have the option to choose any page on which you’d like your ad campaign to be published. The idea behind setting a default page stemmed from the need to have a pre-selected default page in the campaign builder workflow, which can be changed by the user as desired.
