We are thrilled to announce that Audiences can now be established not only during the campaign creation process, but also from the dedicated Audiences section under Ad Manager settings. This facilitates users to develop new Custom or Lookalike audiences in advance and utilize them while generating campaigns.
What’s New?
- Audiences tab is now available under Ad Manager settings.
- The creation of both custom and lookalike audiences was previously limited to the campaign creation process. However, users now have the option to create these audiences in advance from the audiences tab.
- The ability to delete an audience from the list of existing audiences has now been included.
- A feature enhancement allows users to modify the name and description of existing audiences.
How It Works:
- All the audiences generated within Ad Manager and those already established in the connected Meta Ad account will be synchronized and displayed under the Audiences tab.
- The creation procedure for new lookalike or custom audiences remains the same. A help document for creating Lookalike and Custom audiences can be referred to for a quick revision.
- An ellipses with the choices to Edit and Delete is positioned alongside each audience. Users can select their preferred option to modify the name and description of the audience or to delete the audience.
Why it Matters:
Enhanced User Journey: The ability to design a new custom or lookalike audience prior to launching a campaign simplifies the campaign publishing process, involving minimal steps.
Important Notes:
- Updates can be made to the name and description of an audience. However, editing the particulars of each audience is not permitted, due to the presence of numerous audience sources in Meta and our Ad Manager’s limitations, risking discrepancies if editing is allowed.
- If a user seeks to eliminate an audience associated with one or more active campaigns, a proper validation will be presented notifying the user that the audience cannot be removed as it is part of an active campaign.
