Agency Wallet Usage Notification Feature
We are excited to introduce the Agency Wallet Usage Notification Feature, designed to assist agency owners in monitoring and managing wallet usage across their sub-accounts. This innovative feature delivers timely alerts when sub-accounts go beyond the predefined wallet usage limits, in turn reducing unexpected charges and simplifying wallet management.
đź‘€ What’s New?
Threshold Configuration: Agencies can now create custom notification thresholds for wallet use by their sub-accounts, ensuring enhanced control over expenditures.
Email Notifications: Agency owners, together with designated admins or users, will receive email notifications when the established wallet usage threshold is exceeded.
Retrospective Usage Calculation: Notifications are informed by wallet usage from the start of the selected period – daily, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly – providing you a comprehensive picture of wallet activities.
Reduced Notification Spam: To evade inbox clutter, only one notification per sub-account will be dispatched each day, regardless of the number of times the threshold is passed.
🛠️ How to Use:
Access Configuration:
- Navigate to Agency View > Billing > Notifications > Wallet.
- Set Usage Thresholds:
- Enable the feature if it is not already activated.
- Click ‘Add a condition’ to set your desired threshold and choose the frequency of notifications.
- As an optional step, include admin or user email addresses for notifications. The agency owner will always receive notifications by default.
Receive Notifications:
After a sub-account crosses the wallet usage threshold, you will receive a notification email for that respective sub-account on the same day.
🛠️ Why This Feature?
This feature supports agencies in monitoring substantial transaction amounts across their sub-accounts, preventing unforeseen charges and lessening the probability of refund requests when there is no enablement of re-billing. It is an active instrument to manage and control wallet expenses.
