Bulk Delete Enhancement for Social Posting and Public APIs

The new feature allows for a bulk delete option for social posting. This means that if there are any issues in the creation of a post, or a change of schedules or content, users no longer have to manually select each post to remove it. They can simply select the posts they no longer want and remove them from the planner.

What’s New?

Users can get a clearer view of their planned posts by using the new bulk delete feature. Also, this operation is now supported via public APIs on the marketplace, so users can connect to perform the operation.

How does it work?

Bulk delete operation is available from the social planner module. Steps as follows:

  • User lands on the ‘Planner’ – list view.
  • User can select all, select few, or unselect the required posts to perform an action such as ‘delete’.
  • Once the posts are selected, click on the ‘Actions’ prompt on top of the table -> ‘Delete selected posts’ -> confirm ‘Delete’.
  • The posts will no longer be visible in the list.

Pointers to note:

  • The deletion happens in the social planner module and does not delete the post directly from the socials.
  • The public API for bulk delete supports a maximum of 50 posts in one go.
  • Multiple posts in the draft, scheduled, failed, In-review stage can be deleted, but not the ‘published’ ones.
