E-commerce Store Enhancement with Text Customization Flexibility

What’s New?

Store owners can now customize text across various components and elements (e.g., Product List, Product Detail, Upsell, etc.) of their e-commerce stores, enhancing localization and facilitating the incorporation of brand-specific language. Initially, these text customization options were scattered across the General and Advanced sections, with many fields being non-customizable. However, we have now consolidated all text settings into a single section within the General settings dubbed “Text Customization”.

How to Use It?

  1. Open your Store Builder and pick the element you’d like to customize (e.g., Product List, Product Detail, Upsell, etc.).
  2. Go to the General section in the Settings tab on the right, and scroll down to the bottom to access the “Text Customisation” section.
  3. In the Text Customization section, you’ll notice text options organized into sub-sections for different parts of the component (e.g., Shipping Details, Payment Section).
  4. You can edit the text, labels, or headings within each sub-section as necessary.
  5. Once you’ve made your changes, save them and click on Publish!

Key Points to Note:

  • Certain text elements, such as error messages or empty result states, may not be visible in the builder preview but can still be customized.
  • Existing customization options (e.g., Button Options, Form Options) have been relocated to the Text Customization section, making the previous options unnecessary and unavailable.
  • Current stores will continue to perform as they are, even if no text settings are modified.
