Easy Instagram Ad Creation and Cross-Platform Reach Enhancement

👀 What’s New?

– The Facebook page selector has been relocated from the upper left corner to the main campaign builder flow, situated above the objective section.

– Beside the FB page selector, a new feature allows you to choose the Instagram account to publish from.

– An Instagram tab has been added to the preview section, displaying a glimpse of the ad’s appearance in Instagram Feed, Story, and Reels.

👷 How It Works:

1. Go to the Ad Manager home page.

2. Select “Create Campaign”, then choose Meta Ad Campaign.

3. Pick a Facebook Page (the default option will be pre-selected but can be changed).

4. Choose an Instagram Account for publishing the ads:

– If no Instagram account is linked, opt for “Use Facebook Page” (your ad will use the details, profile picture, and name of the Facebook page).

– If an Instagram account is linked, it will be selected automatically for publishing.

5. In the Manual Placement field, select the Instagram locations where you want the ad to be displayed.

– If Auto Placement is engaged, all Instagram placements will be defaulted.

6. Add Ad Text, Media, Budget, Audience, and other requirements to see the ad preview.

7. Click “Publish” to begin your campaign on Facebook and Instagram.

8. Instagram ad performance data will be made available in Connectly Ad Manager soon after the ads begin running. These ads will use the same Statistics section as Facebook ads.

🧐Why This Feature?

– Simplifies Instagram ad creation directly from the Ad Manager.

– Offers flexibility to select Instagram locations or use Facebook Page details when there’s no Instagram account linked.

– Streamlines ad setup and boosts cross-platform ad reach.

– Optimizes campaign performance by employing both Facebook and Instagram audiences.

📝Notes:

1. Only a single Instagram account can be connected to a Facebook page simultaneously. A user will need to unlink any existing linked account from the Meta platform to link a different one.

2. The process of linking and unlinking an Instagram account to and from a Facebook page is completed on the Meta platform.
