About:
Store owners can now seamlessly publish and sync products from their Connectly Ecommerce stores to Meta Commerce, facilitating sales via Facebook and Instagram Shops. With robust sales and marketing tools at their disposal, store owners can conveniently promote products and target audiences. Inventory is automatically synced to Facebook and Instagram shop, enabling users to manage a single inventory and smoothly run ads across both platforms.
How to use:
Creating a Facebook Shop:
Store owners can establish a shop in Meta Commerce Manager if they haven’t already done so. In the Business Portfolio, click on “Add Account” in the Commerce Accounts section to set up a shop.
In Connectly:
- The Multiple Facebook Pages feature must be activated from Labs which is located under Sub-account Settings -> Labs
- Access Integration: Proceed to Sub-account Settings > Integrations > Facebook & Instagram to get to the integration.
- First-Time Connection: For those connecting for the first time, store owners have to link their Facebook account and provide the required permissions. After this step, they can pick the Facebook/Instagram Shop pages they wish to connect with their Connectly E-commerce Stores in the “Manage Pages” section.
- Reconnection for existing Facebook/ Instagram integration users:
- This integration is only accessible in the multiple Facebook feature, so it should be activated under Labs Section
- To enable Shops, users must disconnect and reconnect the integration
- Before reconnecting the integration, the LeadConnector integration must also be removed on the Facebook side. It can be located under Facebook Profile –> settings & privacy –> Settings –> Search for “business integrations”.
- Upon connecting again, the Shops should be enabled
- If the necessary scope is not present, an error state will indicate that Catalog Management is disabled
- Connect Pages to Stores: Once the desired shop pages have been chosen, store owners can link them to their Ecommerce stores via the “Messenger Settings” in the Facebook and Instagram Integration card. The Shops tab will display the chosen pages, which need to be connected to their respective stores for product publication and syncing.
- Product Sync Control: Store owners have the choice to enable or disable product sync for each page as desired.
Notes:
- The Facebook Page should be connected to a Product Catalog for the product sync to function
- The Facebook Page should have the category labeled “E-commerce Website” to be listed in the Shops section
- The Facebook Page categories can be managed by visiting the Facebook Page and proceeding to the “About” section. Under “Contact and basic info”, Categories will be present
- The Facebook Page should be linked to a Connectly store under the Shops section for the sync to operate
- Only single-use products will be synced to the Meta marketplace, Recurring products are not compatible with the Meta Marketplace
- If track Inventory is disabled or if “continue selling out of stock” is selected, the inventory quantity will be set to 999 as inventory is mandatory in Meta Commerce Manager
