Billing and Reconciliation

We have made changes to voice billing and security. We are now fetching charges from an API instead of using a static database. This enhances our billing accuracy, efficiency, and stability, and reduces any delays in wallet debits.

Security

To tackle the issue of voicemail spam that sometimes resulted in long voicemails, leading to unnecessary storage charges, we are now imposing a limit. Voicemails will be restricted to a maximum duration of 5 minutes to help decrease storage charges.

Number Pool Search

We have updated our search logic to make it easier to locate a number with a specific area code. In the past, the entire number would be searched for the area code, but we have improved it so that the system will now only search the beginning of the number (where the area code is). This enhancement will lead to more accurate results.

Bug Fixes

There were instances where the sender’s information would not appear in the SMS on the conversations page, even though it had been sent – we have corrected this issue. In addition, we have resolved a problem where calls would sometimes still be forwarded to a user even after they were removed from a sub-account. Lastly, we have fixed a bug that affected call connect, leading to certain inbound calls not going to voicemail.
