We’re excited to introduce the brand-new Email Notification Settings for Social Planner! This will alleviate much frustration from failed posts, rejected scheduled posts or account expiry.😎
🤩 What’s New?
We have a total of six notifications:
– Account Expired – Notifications for Social Accounts whose tokens have expired
– Account PreExpiry – Social Accounts such as Facebook pages have an expiry of 90 days. Around the 80th day, the user gets notified to refresh the token
– Request for Approval – Notifications for Social Posts which are scheduled for approval, prompting the user to approve the scheduled post.
– Post Approved update to Creator – Notifying the creator of the post should the scheduled post receive approval
– Post Rejected update to Creator – Notifying the creator of the post should the scheduled post be rejected
– Post Failed – Notifying selected users when a scheduled post has failed
To alter the template, users can click on settings to edit the template or they can edit the template form under Emails > Template > New > Template Library > Within the template library, in the side navigation there is an option to change the system templates.
How It Works:
To set up the notification, navigate to Marketing > Social Planner. There is an option in the Settings beside the Create New Post option. Users can enable or disable the email notifications.
😊 Why it Matters:
For Social Planner, these updates significantly improve functionality. We’ve observed a sizeable number of agencies experiencing difficulties with their social content not publishing due to the social account expiry, non-approved posts, or failure due to various other reasons.
