Multi-Select Capabilities in Media Storage is Now Live!

This new enhancement allows users to perform bulk actions such as moving, downloading, and deleting files, streamlining file management and improving efficiency.

Key Features & Benefits

• You can now select multiple files at once using check marks or by dragging the mouse across items. This makes managing large numbers of files more efficient.
• Once files are selected, users can move, download, or delete the selected files in one go, saving time on repetitive actions.
• Users can enter multi-select mode either by dragging to select or by using the “Select” option in the three-dot menu. The selected files will be marked with a checkmark at the top left corner.

How to Use

• Entering Multi-Select Mode:
  • Grid View: Click and drag the mouse across the files you wish to select, or use the “Select” option from the three-dot menu. Selected files will display a checkmark.
  • List View: Use the checkboxes next to each file or folder to select multiple items.
• Performing Bulk Actions: After selecting the files, you can move, download, or delete them in bulk by using the corresponding buttons.

What’s next?

We are working on adding keyboard shortcuts to enhance the multi-select experience, further boosting productivity. Future updates will allow users to select and insert multiple files into tools like funnels, websites, and other integrated products.

Notes

• Users can select and download up to 100 files at a time. If a file size exceeds 2 GB, it will be skipped in multi-download and has to be downloaded individually.
• When in multi-select mode, the “Rename” and “Get Link” options will be disabled for selected files to maintain simplicity during bulk actions.
