Enhanced Editing Capabilities for Recurring Invoices
- Modify Frequency: Allows you to configure the billing cycle (weekly, monthly, annually) of existing recurring invoices to better suit your clients’ payment plans or project timelines.
- Change Dates: Presents an option to adjust the beginning and end dates of planned invoices to accommodate alterations in service durations or contractual terms.
- Update Products/Services: Enables the addition, deletion, or modification of the products and services outlined in ongoing or planned recurring invoices. This updates any changes in your offerings or client needs.
- Automated Email Alerts: Activates an email alert to the user when auto-payment is enabled in a modified recurring invoice.
- Personalization Options: Tailor the contents of these notification emails within the invoice settings to match your brand communication style.
How to Use the New Features
- Access Recurring Invoices: Proceed to the Invoicing section in your Connectly dashboard and click on Recurring Invoices.
- View the Invoice to Edit: Select the recurring invoice that is active or scheduled and that you wish to amend.
- Make Adjustments: Switch the frequency, dates, or products/services as required.
- Save Changes: After conducting the necessary adjustments, save the invoice to implement the updates.
- Customizing Email Notifications: Visit Invoice Settings and go to customer notifications. Edit the Auto payment amount changed notification to modify the subject line, content, and other notable details of the notification email.

- Flexibility in Billing: Business frequently encounter variations in service agreements, project scopes, or client needs. Ensuring easy modifications to recurring invoices guarantees that your invoicing remains accurate and syncs with your existing operations. This lessens the inconvenience of creating new invoices from scratch.
