Exciting new feature: Manage your social presence using Social Planner

We’re delighted to announce that you can now schedule, publish, and manage your social presence on community groups and channels with the Social Planner.

Incorporating this new feature allows for streamlined content distribution, scheduling control, and enhanced engagement. Now, you can cultivate more robust and consistent community interactions through the Social Planner. Here’s how:

  • Scheduled Posting: Plan and schedule your content in advance. Ensure your posts go live at the most optimal time for each community. This strategy helps maintain engagement and guarantees your message reaches members at the most impactful times.
  • Unified Content Management: Trail and manage all posts, both past and future, from one interface. The feature allows you to view post history, upcoming scheduled posts, and current statuses across all communities for rapid adjustments and overall oversight.

How does it work? โœ‰๏ธ

Here’s a guide to navigating this new feature:

  1. Navigate Marketing > Social Planner
  2. Connect your Community Groups and Channels , users can add these from the ‘Settings’ page on Social Planner and add a Community group from the list of Groups available on your current location.
  3. Note: A community can only be connected from the respective sub-account inside the Social Planner.
  4. The Group and all its channels will be added to the Social Planner.
  5. Go to the Post Composer page, multi-select the channels, and the platform will indicate the channel’s group.
  6. Add rich-text media content.
    • Both images and videos can be uploaded, with a limit of 10 media files allowed.
    • Image files must not exceed 10MB.
    • Videos must not exceed 1GB and must have a minimum duration of 4 seconds.
  7. Fill in the required fields such as Title, and select the User you want the post to be published under.
  8. Schedule your first community Post
  9. Note: Community posting supports CSV and other types of posts.

Important points to note ๐Ÿ“”

Please keep in mind the following:

  • If there are new Channels or changes to Group/Channel details, they will not auto-populate in Social Planner. You will have to navigate to Social Planner Settings > Communities to re-sync the groups and channels.
  • In the Post Composer area, there is an option to add a user under whose name the post will be published. In Social Planner Settings > Communities, you can select default users who will be used when creating a new social post.
