We’re thrilled to announce that you can now use the Template Library within Ad Manager to create Ad Campaigns using templates and upload existing campaigns to Template Library. This valuable addition is designed to simplify user workflows by allowing effective use of high performing campaigns as templates to create new ad campaigns.
What’s New?
- Users now have the capability to turn existing campaigns into new templates by uploading them to the Template Library.
- Creation of new ad campaigns using templates from the template library is now enabled, all within Ad Manager. This provides another convenient option to create ad campaigns using templates, or to craft one from the ground up.
- We have added an Ad Manager tab to the Template Library section in agency view.
- A new “Objectives” filter has been introduced to the Template Library for use within the Ad Manager tab.
How It Works:
Ad Manager tab in Template Library
- In the agency view, an Ad Manager tab has been added to the Template Library section. This allows visibility of all templates (default, those created by agency owner/user and those shared with the agency) specific to Ad Manager.
- A new filter named “Objectives”, specific to Ad Manager, has been added. This helps filter out templates based on campaign objectives: ‘Lead Generation’ and ‘Website Traffic’. In future, newly added objectives for campaign creation will also be reflected in the Template Library filter.
Create campaigns using Ad Manager templates
- In the Ad Manager home screen, the existing “Create Campaign” button now has a dropdown menu with two options: ‘Start from Scratch’ and ‘Ad Manager Templates’.
- Select ‘Start from Scratch’ to follow the usual ad campaign creation process.
- Choose ‘Ad Manager Templates’, and a screen will display all the templates.
- Select a template to preview it and click ‘Continue’ to begin adding the template.
- A campaign is automatically created with pre-filled details.
Upload Campaign to Template Library
- From the list of existing campaigns, select any campaign to use as a template.
- Click on the ellipses of your chosen campaign and select ‘Upload to Template Library’.
- A dialog box will appear, here you can input the template name and specify which category the template falls under.
- Click ‘Upload’ and the campaign will be saved as a draft template.
- After clicking ‘Upload’, a screen showcasing the draft template opens. Here, you can make modifications if necessary and save it as a draft, or publish it immediately as a template.
Why it Matters:
- Ease of Use – The addition of templates to the campaign creation process further simplifies it by pre-filling all the information from the chosen template into the campaign.
- Remove duplication of effort – This notably reduces the effort needed to replicate a high-performing campaign, offering a straightforward way to turn it into a template and share it with other locations.
