What’s New
We have made significant changes to the current wait action to enhance the user experience and provide more powerful features.
- Branching – Two separate branches are now available: one for actual conditions and another for timeout. This feature allows users to take actions based on whether the wait condition has been met or if the wait has timed out.
- Text explanations for each branch – We have added a text explanation for each branch node to further clarify the actions that will happen within each specific branch.
- New UI for dropdown – We’ve redesigned the UI for the “Wait For” field to increase visibility and ease of access to all available options.
- Enhanced stats view – Users can now move/remove selective contacts waiting on a wait action to the next action. The “Next Execution Time” is also now displayed on the stats view.
- Changes in the Execution Logs – We’ve added separate logging for timed out contacts and contacts that have fulfilled the conditions in the Execution Logs details sections.
What will happen to my existing Wait actions?
By default, your current “Wait” actions will remain unchanged and will continue to function as expected. If you wish to switch to the newer version, please follow the steps below:
- Upon opening any older version of a Wait action with timeout option, a banner informing you of the new branching changes will appear. Click “Enable branching” to proceed.
- A pop-up window will appear, proceed by clicking “Confirm”.
- An additional banner stating that Branching was enabled will subsequently appear.
- Finally, remember to save the action.
