Prior to this update, users were only able to remove contacts from either a single workflow or all workflows at once. They could not remove contacts from a selection of multiple specific workflows simultaneously. If a contact was integrated into several different workflows (such as lead nurturing, sales funnels, or email sequences), the user would have to manually remove them from each workflow one at a time after the contact progressed to the “Sale completed” stage. This could be a long and tiring process.
What’s new?
There are now four options available in the dropdown menu of the “Remove from workflows” action:
- Current Workflow: This option allows the user to remove a contact from the workflow they are currently in.
- Another Workflow: This allows users to select and remove the contact from another specific workflow.
- All Except Current Workflow: This option removes the contact from all other workflows, barring the one they are currently in.
- All Workflows: This option removes the contact from all active workflows.
With these new options, users are now able to remove contacts from multiple workflows in one action, which was not possible in the earlier version of Connectly.
In addition, a feature has been added to make execution logs for workflow removal. Now, when a contact is absent from a workflow that they are intended to be removed from, this action will be logged as ‘skipped’ in the execution logs. In earlier versions, if the contact was not included in a workflow, the action would be skipped without any record being added to the log. The execution logs will also include a list of all the workflows a contact has been removed from.
Additional Information
Workflows that currently include the “Remove from all workflows” action won’t be affected by this update. However, once the action is reopened, the new “remove workflows” actions and the chosen option will be displayed.
The “Remove from all workflows” action has been deprecated and is now grouped under the “Remove workflows” action in Connectly.
