What’s New?
Business users on Connectly now have the ability to Preview & Edit Email Templates for all Invoice Notifications directly from the Invoices Module. Furthermore, this feature also allows users to preview and modify the Default Email Template for Notification according to their needs. Users can now edit their own default templates for notifications!
It’s possible to configure email templates for 10 types of notifications, which includes both Team and Customer Notifications. Business Users can also edit and save a new template for their own use case. The complete functionality is available from invoice settings where a user configures notifications for invoices module!
Business Users now have the facility to preview the template while sending out to customer for One Time Invoices and Scheduling Recurring Invoices. Also, they have the ability to edit it straight from the invoice editor!
Why?
Connectly implemented this feature in response to several requests from customers through support tickets and the ideas board, who wanted to control the Default Email Template sent out for various notifications. This provides the business user more control and enhances the user experience on the invoices module as the whole functionality can now be accessed within the same module.
How to Use it?
Navigate to the Payments Tab -> Invoices -> Click on the settings Icon on the page. Post this, click on Notifications wherein you’ll see a preview text right beside the Email Template. Again, go to Payments Tab -> Invoices -> Create New Invoice -> Send. When a user clicks on Send, the Modal that opens up will showcase a preview of the template being sent to the customer, and the business user can edit it right there.
What’s Next?
Soon, Connectly will include a similar functionality for SMS templates in all invoice notifications. We also plan to introduce this capability for the Receipts Module too!
