Social Planner Enhancements
Exciting news! Social Planner now boasts a robust new feature: users now have the ability to upload photos and transform them into PDFs for posting on LinkedIn. Moreover, users can import PDFs and convert each page into individual images for sharing on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
The LinkedIn PDF Carousel has quickly risen to become a favoured format for disseminating information, offering an innovative way to engage your audience and showcase expertise.
As stated in the 4th Annual Algorithm Research study from Richard van der Blom and BlissPoint Consulting, LinkedIn PDF Carousels gain 2.2X to 3.4X more reach in comparison to text and image posts.

Social Planner’s recent enhancements were largely based on ideas and votes accumulated on the Ideas Board.
How to create a LinkedIn Carousel Post/Document Post?
- Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner
- Connect your LinkedIn account (either a page or profile)
- Click “New Post” and use the post composer to create a new LinkedIn carousel or document post
- Select the socials from the dropdown and add your post content
- Click on the file upload icon (located between the image and video upload icons)
- Upload one or more PDFs for LinkedIn carousel or import photos to post as a PDF on LinkedIn
- You can modify the name of the PDF, and add a watermark if required
Note:
- LinkedIn permits up to 300 pages and a 100 MB limit per document.
- PDFs are transformed into images when imported in social planner, and if Instagram is chosen, the images are automatically cropped to fit within Instagram’s aspect ratio restrictions.
- Users can now delete media by clicking the ‘X’ that surfaces when hovering over the media preview.
- When users opt for the ‘post as a PDF’ option, all the images are transformed into a PDF and uploaded to LinkedIn.
