We’re thrilled to announce the introduction of Carousel ads for Ad Manager during the campaign creation process. This has been a highly anticipated feature that our users have been eagerly awaiting in order to enhance the value of their ad campaigns.
👀 What’s New?
1. The Ad Content step of the campaign creation process now includes an expanded media section with two options under the media type sub-section: Single and Carousel.
2. When using Carousel, users can add multiple images or videos, up to a maximum of 10 per campaign.
3. Each media added will be accompanied by a unique headline and description specific to that image or video.
4. The preview section will show the media selected for the campaign and give a preview of how it will look as an advertisement.
5. Under the ‘Review and Publish’ section, all the images or videos used for the campaign are shown in the ad content > media section.
👷 How It Works:
– Previously, during the campaign creation process, users could only upload a single image or video. Now, there’s the option to include multiple media within a single campaign, and both images and videos can be used together.
– Clicking on the ‘Upload Media’ button will open up the media library, which allows users to select multiple images and videos for their campaign. These can then be added to the campaign by clicking ‘Insert Files’.
– The order of images can be rearranged to match the sequence they should appear in the ad.
– Every uploaded image is required to have a headline. If an image is missing a headline, appropriate validations will be shown for each image.
– Previewing your campaign will show all image details. Selecting a specific image on the left will change the image displayed on the preview screen.
⭐ Why it Matters:
– Improved Engagement: Carousel ads can enhance a user’s advertising strategy by making the ad content more engaging and effective.
– Increased Click-Through Rates: Users are often more likely to click on carousel ads since they can see more options at once, which can lead to higher click-through rates compared to single-image ads.
– Mobile-Friendly: The swipe-able format is well-suited for mobile users, who represent a significant portion of Connectly’s audience.
– Cost-Effective: Showcasing multiple products in one ad can reduce the overall cost per click (CPC) compared to running several individual ads.
