Introducing Group Chat Capability within the Connectly CRM
We’re excited to unveil the Group Chat feature, a significant enhancement to your conversation dynamics within the CRM. This innovative feature lets you engage multiple contacts in a single, unified group SMS conversation. It significantly improves collaboration and ensures everyone is up-to-date, enabling efficient coordination of tasks like real estate deals, sharing updates, and decision making in a group. Group Chat is here to simplify your messaging process and amplify your productivity.
What’s New?
You can now kick start group SMS conversations from the CRM employing LeadConnector phone numbers. However, the phone number needs to be US/Canada based to facilitate group chat. This operates like group SMS on your mobile. All the participants included in the group can send as well as receive messages in the group. Group creation can involve up to 10 participants, inclusive of you.
How to Use?
Creating a Group Chat:
- To assemble a group chat, navigate to the Conversations section, hit the Create a new message option, and select Group Message.
- Elect the phone number you would like to employ for the group chat, and select your participants. Both primary and secondary numbers of contacts can be included.
- Click on Create Group and dispatch your message. The message will reach all contacts included in the group. Whenever any contact responds in the group, their message reaches everyone, thus keeping all group members updated.
- You can review all the contacts included in the group chat from the top bar and the side panel by hitting the chevron icon adjacent to the contact names. By clicking any contact’s name or number, the right panel displays their contact details.
- When a group is formed, messages will continue to be delivered to the original numbers added, even if a contact is omitted or their number updated. “Updated” and “Deleted” tags will show up beside such contacts’ names.
- You can check the individual status for each contact for every message, displaying whether the message has been sent, delivered or failed.
Access:
- Users with assigned data access can assemble and view group chats inclusive of only the contacts assigned to them.
- A user can dispatch messages in a group only if they have access to the phone number used to set up the group chat.
- Admins can access all numbers added in the location, users have access to the default number, number assigned to the user, and all unassigned numbers.
Key Benefits:
- Enhanced Collaboration: The Group Chat allows you to bring together multiple stakeholders, thus making the communication process more efficient and effective. This is especially useful in scenarios like real estate transactions which demand updates for multiple parties.
- Streamlined Messaging: By facilitating group conversations, the struggle of individual messages can be avoided, saving time and keeping everything organized in a single thread.
- Real-Time Engagement: Everyone in the group can send and receive messages together, ensuring that everyone stays informed and can partake in the conversation simultaneously.
Note: Group Chat can be enabled from Labs.
