We are thrilled to inform you about a significant improvement to the If/Else Action! This upgrade includes major UI changes, a fresh perspective on Branches, and the introduction of Recipes for If/Else.
What’s New?
Introducing Scenario Recipes
We have entirely reinvented the way you establish your If/Else conditions by introducing Scenario Recipes. These are predefined templates that streamline the setup process. The novel features are:
- Select from one of our pre-built recipes intended for If/Else only.
- Select from the drop-down menu where you can choose.between our 10 recipe types or create your own.
- The recipes also suggest any prerequisites you may want to include before using them.
Enhanced Branch Functionality
The If/Else branches in the builder have witnessed a significant revamp:
- Now, every branch comes with a brief text summary, which makes it simple to discern, at first glance, which conditions are met.
- If branches consist of multiple conditions, just click “+x more conditions” to view a complete list in a hassle-free pop-up window.
- Clicking on any branch will seclude it for editing, curbing others for temporary clarity, and allowing you to focus on one branch at a time.
“Time of the Day” condition
This new condition brings accuracy to a whole new level:
- Earlier, in the “Current Hour” condition type, users could only pick the hour options.
- We have brought in a new alternative in the “Date – Time” condition known as “Time of the Day,”
- This gives users the power to select particular times down to 15-minute intervals, presenting more specific control.
- To keep it simple, we provide descriptions of selected values, shedding light on situations where those will be true.
UI Upgrade
The If/Else action comes with a rejuvenated UI that is more user-friendly.
- The Branch Configuration screen has been optimized for ease of use.
- The new Condition Dropdown simplifies the search and selection process of specific conditions.
- Furthermore, users can now effortlessly drag and drop branches to adjust their sequence in the UI.
