Introducing an Important Update to the Bulk Contact Import Process
We are launching a significant update to the Bulk Contact Import process to ensure compliance and maintain the quality of your contact lists.
What’s New:
Users will now encounter a disclaimer checkbox in the footer section during the bulk importation of contacts. Before completing the import process, this disclaimer must be acknowledged. Users will be prompted to check this box before moving on to the final stage if they fail to do so.
Why Are We Making this Change?
Importing bulk contacts without proper permission can increase bounce and spam rates, negatively affecting your sending reputation. Even if some lists claim to have opt-in consent, they may not be suitable for marketing communication tools. Contacts from purchased or rented sources are likely to bounce, unsubscribe, mark emails as spam, and may cause blocklistings.
Benefits:
Ensuring that all imported contacts meet consent standards will protect your account’s reputation. It also helps maintain high-quality contact lists and reduces the risk of bounces and spam complaints. Additionally, it fosters users to verify their contact sources and instills responsible marketing practices.
By incorporating this mandatory disclaimer, we aim to assist you in keeping a healthier, more effective marketing strategy. Please make sure you acknowledge this disclaimer to proceed with your bulk contact imports seamlessly!
