Before, in marketplace actions/triggers, users could opt for either static data or a custom value for input fields. This meant that developers had to create two separate actions—one for static inputs and another for custom values.
Example: For date inputs, developers were required to create one action using a date picker and another for custom date input.
What’s New?
A new dropdown option now enables users to choose between a standard value or a custom value picker.
- Standard Values: Users can input data depending on the field type (for example, date, dropdown, tag).
- Custom Value Picker: Users can input data from custom fields, for instance, values from an inbound webhook trigger or other custom fields.
This improvement removes the need for developers to create duplicate actions for the same objective. There will be no changes to the existing process of building marketplace actions and triggers with Connectly.
