Change Log Update
Before, in marketplace actions/triggers, users had the option to choose either static data or a custom value for input fields. This necessity compelled developers to construct duplicate actions – one for static inputs and another for custom values.
For instance, when managing date inputs, developers needed to establish one action utilizing a date picker and another one for a custom date input.
What’s New?
A new development has been made by introducing a dropdown option which lets users to choose between a standard value or a custom value picker.
- Standard Values: These allow users to input data based on the field type such as date, dropdown, tag, etc.
- Custom Value Picker: This lets users to input data from custom fields like values from an inbound webhook trigger or other custom fields.
This new feature eradicates the need for developers to create duplicate actions for the same function. It’s crucial to note that there won’t be any changes to the current procedure of building marketplace actions and triggers in Connectly.
