Bug Fixes ๐
We have recently squashed some bugs for a superior user experience and provided clearer error messages for efficient problem resolutions.
Google Adwords
1. We have addressed a problem where conversion uploads failed due to “One per click” counting type accompanied by a missing GCLID and the usage of gbraid/wbraid.
2. We have added specific checks based on the counting type and have prioritized GCLID for “One per click” conversions.
– Error message: “The Google Ads conversion tracking is set to ‘One per click,’ but the necessary GCLID is missing.”
Facebook CAPI
1. We no longer allow emojis in payloads, instead providing clear error messages in place of generic errors.
– Error message: “Emojis and Special characters are not permitted in the stage/Event name”
2. We have improved error messages for “Missing permission” when there are mismatches in the access tokens and Pixel IDs used.
– Error message: “This error occurs if the access token is not linked to a system user with admin rights for the ad account owning the pixel. Please ensure that the system user holds an Admin role and that both the user and the pixel belong to the same ad account.”
