What’s new?
– Connectly users can now set a custom URL while creating payment links. Following a successful payment, the webpage will redirect to this specified URL.
– Users have the choice to set the redirection to occur in the same browser tab or open a new one.
– If the user’s browser hinders redirection, users can manually type in the same URL.
– There’s a 5-second timer to show users that they are being redirected.
How to use?
– Navigate to Payments -> Payment Links
– Proceed to create a new Payment Link.
– With the ‘Enable redirection’ option, input the desired URL.
– Decide if you want it to open in the same tab or a new one, then share your link.
– Upon successful completion of a payment using the link, the user will see an interim screen, after which they will be redirected to the preferred URL.
Why we built it?
– This feature was developed to enhance the usability of payment links. It allows Connectly users to embed it in a way that the customer can be redirected back to a specific page after a successful payment.
