Automatic Tax Application on Payment Links for US Customers

Overview

Business users can now have automatic taxes applied during checkout at Payment Links for end customers in the USA.

Business users now have the capacity to configure and apply automatic taxes on Payment Links.
If set in the Settings within Payments -> Taxes, auto taxes would be applied to the product during checkout.
Auto taxes would be applied to subsequent transactions for recurring products.
To apply auto taxes, the payment link must capture the customer’s address.
This feature extends to both one-time and recurring product Payment Links.

Automatic taxes are only available for customers providing a valid US address.
Automatic taxes would also be applied to recurring products purchased through Payment Links.
The feature is also usable across already created payment links!

Navigate to Payments -> Settings -> Taxes.
Enable Automatic Taxes -> Enter in all required details.
Go to any live Payment Link via preview or Copy Link Option -> Enter US Address details and voila, automatic taxes are applied!
