Store owners can now seamlessly sync Ecommerce orders with Shippo, gaining access to the best real-time shipping rates from over 40 carriers. This integration makes your shipping process more efficient by allowing you to compare live shipping rates instantly, print shipping labels, batch orders, and automatically fulfill orders. Store owners also have the opportunity to generate income by charging markup fees on delivery.
How to use
In Shippo:
- Store owners first need to generate a live Token in Shippo. This can be found in: Settings > Advanced > API > Live Token.
- On the Shipping options page, various details need to be set up, including the Sender address, Package template & Weight. After these details have been set up, users can add Shipping Options. Store owners can introduce markup fees at this stage.
In Connectly:
- Setup Shipping origin: This can be found at Payments > Settings > Shipping Origin. Store owners need to add shipping origin details which will be passed into Shippo as the Sender’s address. If this isn’t defined, the default Sender’s address from Shippo will be used to place the order.
- Install Shippo from Marketplace: Shippo can be reached from marketplace apps or from the Sub-account Integrations page (needs app approval).
- The live token generated from Shippo needs to be added and live shipping rates enabled.
- Shipping rates from Shippo: A Shipping zone needs to be set up in advance in order to create live Shippo carrier rates.
Notes:
- Shippo Setup: To ensure live rates at checkout, configure Shipping options, Parcel templates, and Sender & Receiver addresses in Shippo. Live rates can only be enabled if the Shipping Options and Parcel templates have been set up.
- Live Token Generation: A live token is required to connect your Shippo account to your eCommerce platform for fulfillments and live shipping rates.
