Exciting New Blog Builder Features
We’re thrilled to announce that our new Blog Builder is fully operational and ready to take your blog to incredible heights!
The new blog builder has introduced improvements, which include:
- URL Simplification – We have eliminated ‘b’ and ‘c’ from the URLs.
- Automated Sitemap -Publish a blog post without having to manually update the sitemap each time. The sitemap for your domain will be automatically updated whenever a new blog post is published.
- Opening Each Blog Post on a New Page – Each blog post will open on a new page, not on the same page. We offer the possibility to customize the appearance, adding forms (like a subscribe form), a custom comment area, or other customizations like text/subtext/calendar.
- Strong SEO with Canonical Support for Blog Post – SEO canonical tags suggest to Google which version of the page it should index, link equity (ranking strength) and display in search results.
- Create Your Customization with Different Layouts and Designs – Blogs can be created with custom layouts, providing options to display what you want in the blog’s card view.
To access the new Blog Builder:
- Navigate to Sites > Blog
- Create a new Blog by setting up the following:
- Adding the name of the Blog
- Selecting the domain and adding a slug (optional)
- Adding the description – approximately 250 characters for SEO purposes. Please remember to add the domain.
- After adding these details, you will be directed to a list view where you can create new blog posts and edit the blog site. This will take you to a similar blog builder to the funnel/website.
- To edit the blog site layout, list view and card details, and the blog post page, users can now customize the Blog Home and Blog Post page.
Creating a Blog Post:
Blog posts can be created from the Blog List. Simply click on the name of the Blog and in the list view of blog posts, you can create a New Post. Blog Posts/Articles are content that is displayed on the blog. When creating a new blog post for SEO purposes:
- You will be asked for the title of the blog post.
- You must provide an image and alt text.
- Write a description of the blog post.
Add the content and then publish or schedule the blog post. Users can now add a canonical link in the Blog and Blog post. There are different statuses in Blog and Blog Post.
