We are introducing two fresh enhancements in our multiple meeting location feature: Display Label for Custom Location and Ask the Booker as a New Location Type.
What’s New?
Display Label for Custom Location:
Connectly now allows you to add a display label for custom meeting locations within the multiple meeting location option. This improvement lets you enter a placeholder name, such as “New York Office,” which is visible on the booking widget until the booking is made. After the booking, the actual meeting location will be disclosed to the booker.
Ask the Booker as a New Location Type:
As an addition to the multiple meeting location feature, a fresh “Ask the Booker” option has been introduced. This feature enables bookers to define their favored meeting location, which then becomes the meeting location for all future references.
How to Use?
Display Label for Custom Location:
– Enter your calendar settings and select the calendar of your choice.
– Scroll to the meeting location area and tap on “+Add Location.”
– Choose ‘Custom’ and input the actual meeting location.
– In the display label input field, type in the label you wish to show on the booking widget.
– Click “Save” to establish your settings.
Ask the Booker:
– Go to your calendar settings and select the desired calendar.
– Scroll down to the meeting location area and click “+Add Location.”
– Opt for “Ask the Booker” from the location options.
– If multiple locations are configured, the ‘Elsewhere’ label will automatically appear on the booking widget.
– Click “Save” to update your calendar.
Why this Feature?
The display label improvement and the “Ask the Booker” feature grant more versatility in managing meeting locations. Display labels offer increased privacy by showing placeholders rather than actual addresses, whereas “Ask the Booker” permits users to dictate their preferred location, enhancing satisfaction and guaranteeing convenience.
