New Connectly Release Allows Custom Service Intervals and Extended Service Durations
The latest feature release for Connectly offers users the ability to add custom service intervals and service durations. Furthermore, the maximum service duration has been enhanced to 12 hours. Connectly users are now also given the option to allow or disallow staff selection on the booking widget.
What’s New?
- Extended Service Duration: Earlier, within a service calendar, the maximum service duration was limited to 6 hours (360 minutes). The latest release has extended this duration maximum to 12 hours, aligning it with other calendar types.
- Custom Service Intervals and Durations: Previously, users could only set these in multiples of 15 minutes (e.g., 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins). Now, users have the liberty to set any interval or duration they need, such as 20 minutes, 99 minutes, or the new maximum of 12 hours.
- Staff Selection Toggle: Users can now choose whether or not they want the booker to select a staff member on the booking widget. Unlike before, users now have the option to enable or disable staff selection.
- Navigate to Calendar Settings.
- Select your Service Calendar.
- Go to the Availability Tab to set your service duration and interval.
- Go to Calendar Settings and select your Service Calendar.
- Proceed to the Customizations Tab.
- Toggle the staff selection option on or off according to your preference.

Changing the interval and duration settings could affect your availability and the available slots shown on your booking widget. To ensure the most available slots, it is suggested that you set the interval and duration in consistent time increments (e.g., both as multiples of 15 minutes).
