What’s New?
Business users are now fully capable of Previewing & Editing Email Templates for all Invoice Notifications directly from the Invoices Module. This includes the ability to preview the Default Email Template to be used for Notification and the freedom to edit it according to their requirements. Now, users can edit their own default templates for notifications!
With this update, we’ve added the ability to configure email templates for 10 different types of notifications. This encompasses both Team Notifications and Customer Notifications.
Business Users also possess the ability to edit and save a new template for later use. This entire functionality is readily available from the invoice settings, where a user sets up notifications for the invoices module.
Furthermore, Business Users now receive the option to preview the template while sending out One Time Invoices and when Scheduling Recurring Invoices. This allows for on-the-spot editing of the template within the invoice editor.
Why?
We implemented these changes in response to numerous requests from our customers. Many expressed the desire to have more control over the Default Email Template for various notifications. This enhancement not only provides more control to the business user but also improves the overall user experience on the invoices module, with all the functionality now accessible within the same module.
How to Use it?
Access this new feature by following these steps:
- Navigate to the Payments Tab -> Invoices. Click on the settings icon visible on the page.
- Next, click on Notifications. You will see a preview text right beside the Email Template.
- Go to the Payments Tab -> Invoices -> Create New Invoice -> Send.
- When you click on Send, a Modal will open up with a preview of the template that will be sent out to the customer. Here, it’s possible to edit the template right then and there.
What’s Next?
Soon, we aim to introduce a similar functionality for SMS templates in all invoice notifications. We are also planning on adding this capability to the Receipts Module as well!
