The Cancellation & Reschedule Policy Setting
The Cancellation & Reschedule Policy setting from Connectly lets you specify a certain time frame in which bookers can utilize the cancellation or reschedule link on the booking widget.
What’s New?
In the past, bookers were able to cancel or reschedule appointments anytime via the booking widget. Currently, however, businesses can establish specific time frames, after which, the cancellation or reschedule links will be deactivated. This would require bookers to reach out directly to the business for any modifications.
How to Use?
Step 1: Navigate to the calendar settings and choose the relevant calendar.
Step 2: Proceed to the ‘Notifications and Additional Options’ segment.
Step 3: Activate ‘Allow Cancellation’ and ‘Allow Rescheduling’.
Step 4: Identify the time range following which links should be deactivated. (Note: If you leave the value blank, the link will never expire, allowing the booker to access it at any time.)
When the Above Setting is Enabled:
When the above configuration is active, a cancellation and a rescheduling link will be added to the ‘additional notes’ category and incorporated in the calendar invite. As per the settings, these links will expire, inhibiting the booker from cancelling or rescheduling the meeting.
