One Click New Store Creation and Consolidated Store Management

What’s New?

Stores Tab Under Sites

Store owners can now manage and view all their stores under a single tab called “Stores” under the sites section in the Connectly App. This provides a seamless and organized interface for stores to be displayed.

The new stores tab will list all the stores and includes all features like sorting, filtering, folder creation etc, just like the funnels and websites.

All existing stores will be visible, as well as any newly created stores.

Create Store Directly from the Connectly App

In addition to the new stores tab, we are also introducing a highly anticipated feature – the ability to create a brand new ecommerce store with just a single click!

When a new store needs to be created, a user can create it directly from the stores submenu, with all the store pages pre-created by default, with a single click.

This greatly reduces the user effort of creating new stores and drastically improves user experience as previously, the user had to create a website –> create a home page –> navigate to the page builder –> and then create a store.

How to use:

Stores Tab Under Sites

  1. Navigate to your sub-account, and navigate to sites.
  2. Locate a new tab titled ‘Stores’.
  3. Navigate to ‘Stores’, where all your created stores are present.

Create New Store

  1. Go to the aforementioned stores menu.
  2. Click on ‘New store’ button.
  3. You will be prompted with a modal to either create a fresh store ‘From blank’, or create one from templates. Choose ‘From blank’ and enter the store name.
  4. A progress loading will appear, during which time all the store pages will be created in the background.
  5. Once created, you will see a brand new store with all your store pages!

Key Aspects and Points to Note:

  1. All websites that have been converted into stores will appear under the stores section.

Also, once the store pages are removed from a store, it will be visible under the websites section only.

  2. All stores are inherently websites. Stores will be found under the websites section as well. It’s the same store displayed in both sections.

If a store is deleted under the stores section, it will also get deleted in the websites section.

The behaviour of stores and websites is almost identical.

  3. If a new folder is created in either the store or website section, it will show up in both sections.

The folder shown in the stores section will only contain stores. Whereas the website section folder will have both stores and websites.

A folder, regardless of where it was created, cannot be deleted from the stores section. It can only be removed from the websites section.

  4. Only ecom store templates can be used in creating a store from a template found under the stores section.

All website templates will be available in the websites section.
