Private Mode enhances privacy for synced events on calendars

New Feature Update: Private Mode for Synced Events

We’ve introduced a new feature, the Private Mode for synced events. This feature allows users to maintain the confidentiality of their third-party calendar details. When activated, only the user who linked the calendar will have the ability to see the event details, ensuring that others cannot access them in the Connectly platform. This functionality is specifically crafted to bolster privacy and prohibit unauthorized entry to your third-party calendar events.

How to Use?

The convenience of this feature can be accessed and handled from two main areas: My Profile & Calendar Connections

My Profile

1. Go to Settings > My Profile.
2. Scroll to the Calendar Configuration section.
3. Look for the Private Mode for Synced Events option and activate or deactivate it as required.

Calendar Settings > Connections

1. Proceed to Calendar Settings > Connections.
2. Scroll to the Private Mode for Synced Events option.
3. Activate or deactivate the setting as per your preference.

Note: This feature is available in Labs and is enabled for all users by default, ensuring that your synced events remain visible only to you, offering full dominance over your calendar’s privacy.
