Automatic Tax Application on Payment Links for US Customers

Overview

Connectly users can now set up automatic tax application during checkout at Payment Links for end customers in the US.

– Connectly users can now configure and apply automatic taxes on Payment Links.

– If configured in the Settings within Payments -> Taxes, automatic taxes will be applied to the product at checkout.

– Automatic taxes will also be applied to subsequent transactions for recurring products.

– The payment link must capture the customer’s address for automatic taxes to reflect.

– This feature for Payment Links covers both one-off and recurring products.

– Automatic taxes are only available for customers entering a valid US address.

– Automatic Taxes will also be applied to recurring products purchased via Payment Links.

– This feature can be applied to existing payment links as well.

– Go to Payments -> Settings -> Taxes!

– Enable Automatic Taxes and enter all the required details.

– Visit any live Payment Link via preview or the Copy Link option, enter US address details, and automatic taxes will be applied!
