Enhanced Ad Campaign Management and Replication Across Sub-accounts

What’s New?

– Connectly now supports Ad Manager in Snapshots! This feature enables agencies to save significant time during onboarding and ensure smooth duplication of Ad campaigns across multiple sub-accounts.

– An ‘All Pages’ section has been added in the connected pages dropdown. This feature allows users to view all campaigns copied using snapshots, regardless of whether they have a page linked to them. This covers the scenario when the Ad Manager home page is opened with campaigns copied using snapshots that do not have a page linked to the campaign. When users open any campaign to edit/publish it, the default page will be selected as the page to be used for publishing the ad.

How It Works:

    1. Navigate to ‘Account Snapshots’ in Agency View.

    2. Create a new Snapshot and select the source sub-account.

    3. Save the snapshot.

    4. Visit “Sub-Accounts” and select the sub-account. Under ‘basic details’ tab of the sub-account, on the top right in the ‘Actions’ dropdown, select load snapshot.

    5. Choose all the ‘Ad Campaigns’ that you want to carry over into the selected sub-account.

    6. Once a snapshot has been successfully transposed into the chosen sub-account, a notification will appear under the bell icon on the top right of the application, signalling that the selected snapshot asset has been copied successfully.

Why it Matters:

This feature optimises the onboarding process for agencies by enabling them to easily duplicate the desired or high performing ad campaigns across different accounts. With pre-configured ad campaigns templates, agencies can ensure a consistent user experience and rapidly provide basic ready-to-use ad campaign templates to their clients.

Important Notes:

– Ad Campaigns that are loaded to the desired sub-account will be created under the selected and connected default page of the target sub-account. Users can choose to change it to a page of their preference.

– All Facebook specific assets like Lead Forms, Custom Audiences, Lookalike Audiences will not be copied as they are specific to the Ad Account and Business Manager connected at the source sub-account. Therefore, if a source sub-account ad campaign is using any of these, it will not be included in the copied ad campaigns to the target sub-account. Users have to add the same items or use the ones associated with the Ad Account they will connect during onboarding.
