Introducing a New Feature: Pause or Cancel Scheduled Email Campaigns

We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows users to pause or cancel scheduled email campaigns, including A/B tests. This new capability empowers you to make edits or corrections anytime before your campaign goes live, enhancing control and flexibility.

Problem Statement:

Previously, users couldn’t pause or cancel their scheduled email campaigns directly, leading to frustration and a loss of control when errors were detected post-scheduling. The only workaround was to use the Bulk Action tab, which was cumbersome and an additional step.

What We Did:

  • Pause Campaigns: You can now pause a campaign at any time and resume it later. If the campaign is resumed after its original execution time, it will be sent at the time of resumption. For campaigns resumed before the execution time, they will execute as scheduled.
  • Cancel Campaigns: Cancel any scheduled campaign to prevent it from being sent. This stops future batches from being sent, including RSS or Batch emails.

How to Use:

  • Navigate to Marketing > Email Marketing > Campaigns.
  • Select the campaign under “Scheduled” status.
  • Click on the three dots (menu icon) next to the campaign.
  • Choose Pause or Cancel to manage the campaign as needed.

This new feature ensures you have complete control over your email marketing efforts, minimizing risks and maximizing efficiency.

  1. Provide processing status for campaigns under sending mode
  2. Provide edit email content option for A/B testing campaigns that have not been executed
