WhatsApp: Coexistence Feature – Closed Beta

We’re thrilled to unveil the WhatsApp Coexistence feature, now in closed beta! This revolutionary feature lets businesses smoothly use their existing WhatsApp Business App account with our CRM software, Connectly.

After your application is submitted, we will get in touch with you to provide access to the beta feature for eligible sub-accounts that meet the requirements. Please note that this beta program is currently only available to businesses that use the WhatsApp Business app and are located in India, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, United States, Hong Kong or Singapore.

What is Coexistence

The Coexistence feature enables businesses to use both the WhatsApp Business App and Cloud API solutions at the same time. This feature enables businesses that primarily use the WhatsApp Business App to scale customer interactions with powerful Cloud API-enabled tools, without needing to change their current app and phone number for seamless continuity.

With the Coexistence feature, businesses can integrate WhatsApp with Connectly to unlock features such as bulk messaging, automations, and marketing templates, while retaining the ability to use free 1:1 and group messaging through the WhatsApp Business mobile app.

Seamless Integration: Connect your existing WhatsApp Business App account with Connectly’s CRM.

Sync Contacts and Chats: Import up to six months of chat history and all contacts from your WhatsApp Business App.

Dual-Platform Management: Continue using your WhatsApp Business App while leveraging Connectly’s advanced features like Automations, Bulk Messaging, and WhatsApp marketing templates.

How to Onboard:

1. On the WhatsApp Business App, link your Facebook Business page.
2. Go to Settings > WhatsApp > Signup with Facebook.
3. Fill in your business information > Select business portfolio > Business name > Business website > Country.
4. Select how to onboard > Connect your existing WhatsApp Business app.
5. Add a phone number for WhatsApp > This is the number that people will see when they chat with you. It must match with your existing account to continue.
6. Confirm or edit your WhatsApp Business account.
7. Share your contacts and chats > Look for a message from the official Facebook business account and tap Scan QR code.

Requirements

1. Businesses need to be registered in India, Mexico, Brazil, Indonesia, United States of America, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
2. The latest version of WhatsApp Business App (version 2.24.17 or newer) is required.
3. WhatsApp Business account must be linked to a Facebook Page.
4. No prior integration with Connectly (if there was, delete WABA account and sign up again).
