Problem Context
In the past, including UTM parameters to links in email campaigns was a tedious and error-prone task. This sometimes led to inconsistencies and possible errors.
Action Taken
Connectly now allows you to establish default UTM parameters in the Email Builder settings, automatically enforcing them on all your campaigns. You also have the option to switch off UTM tracking for specific campaigns if need be.

Guide on Using UTM Parameters
- Access Email Marketing: Go to the Email Marketing section of your platform.
- Visit Settings: Tap on the Settings page within Email Campaign.
- Examine Tracking Choices: Choose the Tracking option to see and modify the default UTM parameters.
- Activate Default UTM Parameters: Use the toggle switch to apply UTM parameters as default to all campaigns.
- Edit Default Values: Modify the values for utm_medium or utm_campaign as required.
- Include Custom Parameters: Press on Add Custom Parameter to incorporate extra parameters and their values.
- Select Parameters: Check the boxes for the UTM parameters you wish to include in your campaigns.
- Save Alterations: Click Save to apply your revised settings.
- Disable for Specific Campaigns: To exclude UTM parameters from a certain campaign, deactivate tracking on the Send or Schedule page.
